If you spend time with the words of Christ in Matthew 24 and the admonition of Paul in II Corinthians 11 and Galatians 1 you find an echo of many of the warnings of Revelation. There are passages galore that share that angels will have a major part to play in the development of end time events.

To me, the ponderous part of this is that the Scripture is clear that not every angelic manifestation will be one who honors Jesus as Lord. To the contrary, the Bible tells us that there are angel spirits who want to tear God off His throne and they certainly won't be doing any of us any favors.

If for nothing else isn't that enough justification for why we should really, really be clear about what the Bible does teach- and what it doesn't teach- about angels?
